Born in Kingston, Jamaica Upcoming artist Papalee moved to Philadelphia in 2010. He bought his first mic at the age of 14, & has been recording/learning how to mix ever since. With releasing low quality mixtapes on datpiff, inspired by the golden eras of Lil Wayne. He started officially releasing quality music on all platforms in 2017, where he dropped his first single “Coconut Crescent”. “Just a matter of time” his first official EP is a diverse body of work showing his versatility & showmanship. Papalee just dropped a new single “The World is a Place” which represents & gives the feel of tranquility. Showing top tier lyricism and vulnerability. Working on his second EP “Cubans” which is going to have a mafia type feel to it with cathedral sampled beats & more lyrics, punchlines, risk. It will be a lot more cohesive than his first project. “A Concept EP.” Basically. His new joint is straight sauce. Anxious to see what he brings to the game. That sauce right here
Let’s Go🔥🔥🔥🔥!!! I’m a little late to this but I’m here though. The Big Loc Cruch Calhoun just dropped his new jawn “Monarch” & he talking HEAVY🔥🔥!! It’s already in the Top 5 on my Spotify playlist “InTheSauceWeTrust”. I remember hearing snippets of this joint & was like that song TOUGH. Y’all better wake tf up! The Cuz been doing this for years !! 💯 His highly anticipated project LOCO will be here 8/28. He was giving Drake & A$AP vibes on this. He literally said twitter fingers and trigger fingers, then uses the voice Automator in an obligatory reference to having friends in gangs. Then people get sad over gang violence in real life. I never understood suburban millennial’s craving gang associated artists who are way more hipster than actual gang activity lol. That’s like Lil Uzi talking bout his violent friends & these suburban millennial eat that up smh. This my shit right here. Cruch one of the hardest rappers coming outta Jersey right now. I’m from Jersey so believe me when I tell you, he got us looking good. Everything he put out is fire. This What Jersey Sound Like! That Sauce! #ROSELLEUSA!
The homie Knightro is a new artist hailing from a small town called Brookhaven, Mississippi. He’s been writing music since high school, as a hobby, then deciding to become serious about it in 2016. From 2017-18, He’s worked on 4 mixtapes, which can be found on reverbnation. Earlier this year, he released his debut album “Hostile Takeover.” The homie Knightro currently working on some more material, which will most likely be released by the beginning of next year. What people can and will expect from him & his camp music is the classic down-south southern flavor. Also, people can feel where they coming from, as far as life experiences, non-fictional topics, and what’s about to happen. This was a good listen right here.. Love the south flavor. He put some sauce on it.
Las Vegas, NV – Rising artist GT is ready to start the summer off right with his brand-new single “Party.” Hailing from a city known for its epic parties ensures that GT brings that Vegas shine to his music, and the single doesn’t disappoint. The song is all about vibes, making it a perfect complement for any functions that are ready to take it to the next level. GT’s signature styling of work well alongside DJ S Dot and Trez, combining for a song with anthem potential.
The move makes sense for GT, who is an experienced and trained artist, with a degree in recording arts and a resume that includes working with major names like 21 Savage, Fetty Wap, Fabolous, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, and many more.
His educational background in music also made him a one-stop shop for all his own needs, including knowing how to record, produce, mix, write and engineer. His work has already earned him appearances on Grammy-nominated projects and Gold certified RIAA records.
With that much to build on, GT is ready to take the next step. “Party” is a great lead off, as it’s featured on his latest work: his new album “Elevation.” The 11-track project showcases his many skills and serves as a great way to get to know him as an artist. The project was a solid listen all the way around. Party, Big Bz, & Elevation are a few of my favorite joints. Stream Elevation here! That Sauce.
King is a self taught artist from Newark, NJ. He representing the Home state, so you know this had to hit the sauce. He putting on right now! King uses music to express emotions, teach, counsel and strike a nerve within his audience. King aims for people to allow vulnerability, thought and receive love from hearing his music. King has a passion for music and you can hear that through the passion in his voice and lyrics. King shows his versatility in creating through his ability to rap and sing. King writes all of his music with no help and prefers it that way for ultimate honesty from him as an artist/creator. King is currently working on more music as he has claimed to have many cohesive projects created already. I had to really sit down & listen to the whole project & if I had to give a rate, it would be a solid 9. I enjoyed listening to this project. This is something you can ride out to & play back. Nothing but substance, messages, & quality production. Probably one of the dopest indie albums I’ve heard all year especially when you consider that a lot of these indie artists not really indie.
King uses his debut project “When I’m Dead” to describe his feelings and thoughts that may be ignored as he goes through the experiences of life. King makes it a vocal point and stresses the fact that when all is said and done, there’s no love here on earth, there’s only love when you’re dead. King captures the feeling of disconnect from his community and experiences he has had in his life. This whole project is straight sauce! JERSEY!!!! We make it look easy.
