No Regrets🙌💯🔥🔥 . This is official right here. NYC is finally ,finally Taking back what it gave birth to hip hop the DJ’s and MC’s. I just wanna say shout out to AXL Beats for flipping this beat. No lie. The drill over the Remix of a classic Jay Z beat is fire. Legendary stuff and he not even in the game fully. The homie Drizzy straight walked on this! Even though, it’s a bunch of artists coming out of NY doing drill, Drizzy is a good lyricist and song maker. He makes more than drill music. He really stepping up the music x10000. Every joint he seem to drop gets better & better. That’s all I want to hear is bars I can relate on, he’s speaking for all of us if y’all pay attention 🔥🔥 . Can’t wait for this to hit Spotify. 2020 is definitely gonna be a good year for him. Anything with Drizzy on it straight FUEGO 🔥 . That Sauce Right Here!
Upcoming artist Cory Marcus aka Cory M is from Tulsa, Oklahoma & has been taking music seriously for 4 months. He released his EP “Teenage Dreams” in May. His new project The Complaint was just released on all digital platforms the 21st of last month. This is definitely that music can smoke & vibe out to. He got 2 more projects on the way this year. The next one is called Trap Betty which embodies a trapped mind and how he’s trying to be free from his self. He’s an advocate for mental health especially in families (children and parents) to have a better relationship. He hopes to be able to incorporate and over time transition into speaking about mental health. Nothing but good vibes when he has your ear. This project was a good listen. Raw & Authentic. Straight sauce.
The Homie Chris Baynes just released his new joint “Up All Night” from Broward County, Florida. He been on his indie grind for a little minute now but he saucing his way up the ranks. Not the regular rapper. I’d say he’s like a Chance the rapper, Childish Gambino type of artist. He got a nice catalog though that’s definitely worth a couple listens. He got new tracks coming as we speak + a project on the way. He out here working hard & delivering. Anxious to hear his next few joints to see his growth. This joint is definitely a solid joint. It’s in my playlist. That Sauce Right Here!
My Dawg Fleaa Mason back with that sauce! The visuals for spooky is finally here. One of my favorite joints that came out this year. The homie Fleaa Mason been on the heavy grind giving us nothing but sauce & quality. I’m still waiting on him to drop “STUNNA”. Fleaa Mason is underrated asf. He putting on for Brooklyn heavy. The only artist that’s not really in the lime light but still doing his thing. He need more credit. A lot of artists dropping a bunch of bull. This joint is in my playlist in Spotify ‘InTheSauceWeTrust’ & will be in there until the end of the year. That Sauce Right Here!
King is a self taught artist from Newark, NJ. He representing the Home state, so you know this had to hit the sauce. He putting on right now! King uses music to express emotions, teach, counsel and strike a nerve within his audience. King aims for people to allow vulnerability, thought and receive love from hearing his music. King has a passion for music and you can hear that through the passion in his voice and lyrics. King shows his versatility in creating through his ability to rap and sing. King writes all of his music with no help and prefers it that way for ultimate honesty from him as an artist/creator. King is currently working on more music as he has claimed to have many cohesive projects created already. I had to really sit down & listen to the whole project & if I had to give a rate, it would be a solid 9. I enjoyed listening to this project. This is something you can ride out to & play back. Nothing but substance, messages, & quality production. Probably one of the dopest indie albums I’ve heard all year especially when you consider that a lot of these indie artists not really indie.
King uses his debut project “When I’m Dead” to describe his feelings and thoughts that may be ignored as he goes through the experiences of life. King makes it a vocal point and stresses the fact that when all is said and done, there’s no love here on earth, there’s only love when you’re dead. King captures the feeling of disconnect from his community and experiences he has had in his life. This whole project is straight sauce! JERSEY!!!! We make it look easy.
Hard! Fleaa Mason bodied this joint right here. New York got some of the best upcoming talent in the game. The culture is definitely re-shifting but I feel like hip hop need to be centered more around New York than Atlanta. This is what I wanna hear. Fleaa was spittin some wavy lines on this jawn. I saw the snippet on the gram & had to blog about it. This definitely won’t be the last time I blog him. He straight sauced on this. I already bumped more than 10 times. That sauce right here!!
