FlowDa4 & RodThaGreat is a rising artist from NYC but moved to ATL at a young age. They been writing songs for a few years but did’nt seriously start recording & taking the business serious till the end of 2018, the same year the TR4G3DY music collective was formed. Currently 17 & 18 years old, they plan on evolving with the music + pushing the genre forward as time goes on. They have big things in store for 2020 that the world will soon witness. The song “Pain” is about a dear close friend who had life had been taken away and the song is a cry out to her beyond the physical realm. They’re expressing his pain through good music. I can relate to this a little bit. That sauce right here!
SAMBO (all caps) also known as Chikki Kush, is a independent artist from New Orleans, Louisiana and now hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. By him having experiences from two different major cities in Louisiana, you can hear his mixture of different sounds & different cultures in his music. Throughout his life, he’s been heavily influenced by a variety of down South legends/musicians, such as The Hot Boys, Soulja Slim, Lil Boosie, UGK, Three 6 Mafia, etc. When growing up, SAMBO faced a lot of life changing experiences which led him to turn to music to express himself. He didn’t feel comfortable talking to anyone about things he did, seen, and experienced, not even close ones. Music was a gateway for him, his sound is mainly hardcore and grimy combined with some lyrics that are pain filled. He did his thing last year. Released a few solid songs & projects. He sometimes paints an image of what mainly goes on in his city day to day. Where he’s from, you have to create your own opportunities because there aren’t many to take. With hard work and dedication SAMBO strives to be one of your top go-to artists. He’s just building his catalog of quality music. Don’t hesitate to tune in to the museum, even though you’ll never know what image may be painted next. His most recent EP is dope. He spitting bars on this as usual but he talking HEAVY. This EP will be on all digital platforms soon.. Already done played this jawn like 6 or 7x. He knows how to put the sauce together. That sauce right here!

Straight Sauce right here!

Man! Royal Rich Duke been putting out some heat these past few months! Shout-out to my Loc for this joint! He speaking his heart on this joint! I been listening to him for awhile now. He really getting better and better with his craft. I feel like he already got 2 classic singles waiting to blow up. His sound is different and its his which is rare when an artist is from/coming out of Atlanta. He got a lot to say! This was a little personal so it was extra raw but this probably one of my fav joints that’s out right now. He’s a hitmaker for sure & he’s definitely next up! More sauce from him coming soon…
So, I been vibing out to this ever since it dropped, just making sure it is what I think it is. I definitely enjoyed this EP. Will be in my roll of decks as 2019 goes on. Esco is one of my favorite spitters coming outta New York. Ever since I covered him that one time when he snapped, I been a fan of his music. This EP was pretty solid. You can smoke to this but you will be running songs back because Esco wordplay different. He had some vibes going on with this joint. I like how he put stuff together. I’m anxious to hear more of him rapping but I’ll sit with this for now. That sauce right here!
Pr1de is an underground from a small town, Slidell, Louisiana. Coming from some tough situations that life threw and the biggest one was his mom getting diagnosed with cancer. Him & his brother stuck together and found vice + escape in music. They’re actually a part of the Big E Brass Band, One plays the tuba & one plays the trumpet. That influences my music a lot. He’s been recording & perfecting his craft for about two years now even though he’s been writing since he was like 10. This project is definitely different but it’s interesting. My favorite joint is “Lost”. He’s definitely getting his message out. Pr1de has a little EP that’ll be out soon with some remixes. His first full length project “Lost and Found” is out now.
Drippy JuJu is an aspiring artist coming outta Springfield, Mass. He’s been rapping for a couple years but just started music seriously for a couple months. This joint right here is fire. Straight island vibes right here.. JuJu is currently working on some new music including a mixtape that’s coming very soon. I enjoyed this joint though. Anxious to see what type of sauce he cooking up for the project but this was definitely a good listen.
My guy Tsunami Went off on this jawn! Still bar sharp & killing shit. One of my favorite lyricists coming outta Chicago. I been of fan of bro since i was in middle school. I’ve worked with him a few times with a couple tracks. He is definitely a rare breed. One of the very few rising artists who have a whole catalog full of heat. People been sleeping on him for awhie. His last project was so anticipated after he dropped it 2 years later than it should’ve, it still hit 1 million plays in a week.. One of the most versatile artists when it comes to flows, genres of music etc. just creative all around the board. He did his thing on on this. Nobody talk they shit like Tsu & that’s a fact. Straight Bars & Sauce. He was talking his shit. Heavy! Sauce Up 2x.
This joint type wavy right here.. I enjoyed listening to this track more than a few times. The homie Trippy Mac is a hip hop/boombap artist from the East Bay area, (small town of Pleasant Hill). He started started messing with the music in 2016 just small freestyles but started to take it serious and dived in around 3 years ago with building his own studio, doing all his own beat production, & learning mixing! He’s a man of many hats. Being creative as possible with the creating process of his music, he has a few joints coming. A new song coming out within 1-2 weeks called “Romeo & Juliet” + another track out around 2 weeks from today. He got his own sound which is dope & he actually got a story to tell. This was that sauce right here!
